We replaced our double ovens with the GE Profile, and we were so happy with the ovens that we went and purchased this five-burner gas cooktop. It is not only beautiful, but it is sturdy, and the knobs are great they work well and I like the fact that it has two big burners, those are the ones I use the most. When you turn the knobs on a light goes on telling you that the gas is coming out. That is so nice when you have teenagers to make sure they know to turn it off. The grids come off very easily and the cleanup is wonderful. When my microwave dies I am going to be buying a GE Profile.

The tops of the burners are impossible to clean completely. The very first time I cooked on this, some pasta sauce splattered on two burner tops and they are stained. I've tried everything to remove.

Covers all the bases for a gas cooktop. The knobs light up when the corresponding burner is on, which is a nice feature. Good variety of burners for special purposes like quick boil or simmer. Creates a good flame. We bought the optional griddle tray which fits perfectly on the left two burners and adds nice flat-top functionality as well.

I want to give five stars but the knobs are plastic (GE should consider changing) not metal as I hoped they would be. However, overall, I love the five burners, especially during the holidays when I needed it most with all the cooking I did!!! Very spacious cooktop.

Installation as very easy replacing a 30™ Whirlpool. New countertop made an easy decision to upgrade. Finish is good though you need to make sure not to use anything too abrasive to clean. Beat to use only spray cleaners. Each burner lights easily and without issue. You do need to be precise on the lighting position. It will not light if you are slightly off. Grates are sturdy and stable. Pots and skillets stay put with no wobble. Overall look is clean and attractive.

Cheap quality. The knobs were melted (must be plastic) and any black markings around the knob to show different range settings were completely erased. Wear and tear is normal and expected but this one here is plain useless- This happened within 3 months of the purchase.

Love the fact that I can put a pan anywhere on the grid (configuration). Quick ignition lighting, controls look good but since I just got it installed I™™m not sure yet if it™™s going to be difficult to maintain clean

This cooktop replaces a ge monogram which lasted 16 years! I loved that one but this one has even better features. Love the lighted dials when burner is on and the 2 large burners and the smaller one are really nice.

We replaced an older model whose printing wore off around the knobs. This is a nice cooktop but the knobs are LOOK ALIKE STAINLESS and not stainless. I like stainless but it scratches easily so we are very very careful.

Good - but not great. The cooktop grills seem excessively large - and of course heavy, too. The lighted dials are a nice feature - but basically, its a simple cooktop without a lot of features.

This new GE cooktop is ™hotter™ and I must be careful when cooking. The pans get very hot and I must use a hot pad . I purchased 3 GE appliances to replace my old ones. By replacing GE appliances with GE appliances everything fits perfectly.

The burner layout is well thought of for multiple usage. The burner works fine as expected except the ignition clicks sound that tends to linger on at times making it risky for gass emissions in yo the air before actually combustion.

Replaced a Whirlpool cooktop with this one. Great upgrade. This unit is sturdy, and very well built. The top grates run together flawlessly so I can move pots and pans around without catching on an uneven ridge. The backlit knobs are perfect when cooking, and when the little ones visit.

Burner controls light up, which I found very helpful. The configuration for the back middle burner is better than the old model that I replaced, as it is closer to controls. Very attractive replacement cooktop in my kitchen and seems very reliable.

I™™m not sure why the metal grate is so high above the fire, it takes much longer to cook, in addition, the worst part of this cooktop is the knobs are silver paint, not stainless steel! From day, one they spotted! And I am so careful with cleansers! For these reasons, I give it three stars
