The G.E. refrigerator in the apartment unit that I now rent is one of my favorite things about the apartment. I haven't had a problem with it yet. It keeps food cold and refreshing. It is nice an clean. It looks nice in the apartment. It matches the Frigidaire stove and has given me much comfort, convenience, & enjoyment. It is great to have a refrigerator of my own, and I trust the G.E. label. It is more convenient and aesthetically pleasing than the fancy refrigerator that I grew up with in my parents home. I also can appreciate it more than the last refrigerator I remember purchasing from Sam's Club. This refrigerator is beautiful. It was a pleasant surprise to find it already sitting within the unit. I remember moving my last refrigerator several times by myself and once slipped slightly during a rainy day move. Though I wasn't hurt that day, the memory has stuck with me. It has helped to remind me how dangerous it was to have done what I have done. This might not be the review you were looking for, but it's the best that I can give at this time. Rest assured, I absolutely adore the G. E. refrigerator in my apartment.

The light which is not a bulb cannot be replaced by the homeowner. It must be examined by a technician and then you™€™re given a price and you never know what it will cost unless you have the technician come out. That™€™s preposterous a high-tech light in a basic refrigerator?

It performs nicely within all the cooling it is able to hold all my freezer foods, it is spacious and easy to stack easily roomy , it doesn't pull too much energy which saves me monthly. It's wide enough to fit most of my bottled products and the removable shelves are a great addition to the appliances . I am most satisfied with the space saving areas it fits perfectly in my home and has giving ample space it's sleek and small .

Bought this GE refrigerator for (i) its energy efficiency (Energy Star rated), (ii) most of its parts from and being manufactured in the US, and (iii) GE's customer care and service should I need it before this fridge will reach its life expectancy of 5 to 10 years (vs. the bottom freezer unit it replaced, which had lasted 20 years until I noticed ice build-up on the back wall of the freezer). Getting used to the compressor never turning off, but cannot wait to see the impact on my electric bill...

We like this refrigerator- it™€™s not super fancy but was a good price for a SS model. We purchased the optional ice maker which so far works well, but the design of the ice bucket to accommodate the ice maker plug allows ice to fall behind the bucket and down to the bottom of the fridge. The shelves are good quality but the drawers in the fridge seem a little flimsy.

The ice maker is absolutely horrible, takes hours to make any ice, and when it does, half turn into a blob of useless ice, or you have to take the ice tray out to break apart the ice it does make. Also if there's more than one person in the house, you'll need a second fridge as this one is just too small.

I was very dissatisfied with the original fridge that I received in August of 2021. The top freezer section accumulated ice in the freezer and on the inside of the freezer door. GE was out to install new gaskets numerous times, but the freezer still accumulated stalactites and stalagmites!
