Stove was far more than I expected. Even bought new cookware to go with the new range. Easy to operate, although I had to get the owner's manual online. Keeping the stove top clean seems to be easier than the last GE stove I had. I would recommend this model to anyone who asks. But one thing, a user quick start guide would be quite helpful which is why I gave it only 4-Stars.

A Two-Year-Old Oven Shouldn™€™t Fail

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this range. My oven, manufactured in February 2024, has already suffered a major electronic failure after only about 2 years normal household use. The oven started beeping randomly and then completely stopped working, while the cooktop still functions. An oven is a major household appliance that should last well over a decade, not fail after two years. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering the cost of the range. After researching the issue, I found that other owners have reported similar problems with this model family, which makes this even more concerning. Customers should not be paying hundreds of dollars to repair a nearly new appliance because of an apparent electronic failure. I expected much better quality and reliability from GE. I sincerely hope GE takes responsibility and works with customers when products fail this prematurely.

I cooked on the stove just the second time and had a stain on which I have used a cooktop cleaner that says it cuts tough stains but the stains on my stove can™€™t come out and I™€™m very worried. I actually regret have the GE stove and the reason I have GE is because it™€™s the brand the Ryan home builders puts in their building. If I had an option to choose I wouldn™€™t have gone with GE because my sister has had Maytag for years and it has no stain even though she cooks almost every day. I will appreciate a recommendation of a toughness cleanser to use that will get rid of the stain or residue.

Great range! Have had for a few weeks. Love the Crisp mode on oven and burners seem to heat evenly. Only thing is when the blue protective tape was removed it shows a different color shade(I got stainless), trying to search how to remove, haven't had chance to call customer service.

The drawer on the bottom is difficult to open, no lip, so must open from side. Also, length and width smaller than our old one so we need to keep our 9x11 pans inside the oven when not in use Otherwise, works well.

This unit replaces my 24 yr old GE stove. It is comparable in features and functions. What I do notice after 24 yrs, is how flimsy it is made compared to my previous stove. The bottom of the draw flexes alarmingly, and the backsplash with the controls flexes as well. My cast iron skillets will have to find a new home. Other than that, I thought the timer feature would show min/sec, but it shows hrs/min. Not super helpful as a timer. I doubt if I'll get 10 yrs out of this one, let alone 20. Still, this is probably the case with any appliance today.

I had a GE range like this from 1997. It was built much stronger than the new one. The controls were heavier and not plastic. The oven had a regular oven and a convection oven and it also displayed the time while the oven is on. This range is not the same quality as they used to be but it works.

Loving it. Able to navigate and understand the controls , cooking is great with two wide two small and one warming plate is awesomeness. The oven have warnings when temp is reached and a timer as a reminder. The distribution of heat is great, allowing the energy to cover needed sizes pots and pand. This range has the capacity to handle my baking skills and the cooking for Holiday cooking
